#MommyTales; a turn in the road

If I had a dollar for every time I have planned, started and completed a blog post in the last four months…

I wouldn’t be rich or anything. I would only have a few dollars! But seriously, since the arrival of Miss J, I find that there are many things I want to write; I thought it might be a good idea to start a journal for her – somewhere to write interesting tidbits and mark milestones; a few ideas for some blog posts, I’ve started a few stories and have a few poems swirling in my head. All these however continue to bow to the superior power of baby regurgitation, dirty diapers and an ever constant pile of laundry!

I knew something had to change, but we’re at that stage in our development where we’re rebelling against naps. And although I try to tell her that she really should take her naps seriously because the day would come when she would rue all these missed naps (hello, adulting!), it appears she doesn’t believe me. So, by the end of the day, I’m too tired to even change the TV channel, much less make changes to my blog. But I found myself awake at past 4 a.m. today (I would like to claim that it was through careful planning, or that I would make this a habit but mehn, I’m not even sure this isn’t a fluke!), and I decided to bite the bullet. Because you know, they say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a first tooth! Or something like that… 😀

Song of the day:  Baby Shark (Hahahahaha!)

Housekeeping

I’m considering changing the name of this blog. Seriously. Have you googled ‘Agatha’s blog’? There’s a truckload of blogs with the same name! Suggestions, anyone?

P.s

Everything is a reason to be lazy these days. Seriously though, I hoped to be able to create a new page that isn’t static to post my ‘mommy stories’ because I want to keep them separate but within the blog. No success so far. Calling on all the tech gurus to help out.

Cheers!!
